German apartments use a standard DIN-profile cylinder (Profilzylinder). Most modern smart locks — including Nuki, Yale Linus, and Danalock — are designed to replace or retrofit this cylinder directly. No drilling, no major door modifications required in most cases.

Rental Apartments
